Bowood Barn is a delightful one bedroomed holiday cottage set in a peaceful rural environment but only minutes away from the attractions of Great Torrington, Instow, Bideford and Barnstaple and only a short drive from the spectacular North Devon coast. For nature lovers there are woodland walks on the doorstep as well as nearby access to the Tarka Trail - an easy off-road route for walkers and cyclists and both Exmoor and Dartmoor are within an hours drive.

As one guest said: "It is in the middle of nowhere but in the middle of everywhere".

Bowood Barn was an old dairy which has been renovated, restored and equipped to the highest standard to cater for the discerning holidaymaker (4* VisitBritain rating).

It is set in the owner's tranquil flower-filled garden bordered by streams and has its own dedicated parking area as well as a patio with good quality garden furniture and a barbecue.
Well behaved dogs are made most welcome.
To ensure year round comfort there is oil-fired central heating as well as a woodburning stove and unlimited hot water.
The living room / kitchen has a vaulted beamed ceiling and is a lovely airy room with a reclaimed pine floor and comfortable furniture. There is a colour TV with Freeview.
The kitchen area is fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, washing machine, full electric cooker and microwave oven. There is also a tumble drier for guests' exclusive use.
The bedroom has a double bed with duvet and linen. Freshly laundered towels and a hairdryer are also provided. There is a fitted pine wardrobe and chest of drawers with matching bedside cabinets and plenty of 'work surface'.
The fully fitted en-suite bathroom has WC, wash basin and bath with full over-bath shower.

Bowood Barn is in a beautiful rural setting, surrounded by farmland with woodland walks on the doorstep. It is ideally situated to enjoy all that Devon has to offer.
