Bourop Steading, luxury self-catering accommodation located on the shores of St Mary's Loch in the Scottish Borders. Guests can utilise the private fishing, sailing and windsurfing on St Mary's Loch, which is just 100 metres from the house.
Accommodation The recently converted farm steading has been completely refurbished to a high standard. It has: Two double bedrooms and one single bedroom. Two bathrooms. Large sitting room, dining room and kitchen all overlooking St Mary's Loch and with direct views of the Megget Valley and Border Hills. The property is completely self-contained with its own private parking, courtyard and drying areas, and patio with garden furniture. Duvets, pillows, all linen and towels are provided free of charge. The setting is perfect for a peaceful holiday amidst the rolling Border Hills, in an area where there are more cairns than people and more sheepfolds than dwellings. The area is renowned for its wildlife; deer are often seen grazing the hills, kestrels, barn owls, tawny owls and short-eared owl are often seen hunting, buzzards glide high in the skies above, and the magnificent sight of an osprey can be seen diving into the loch to catch one of the many trout that inhabit the clear waters.
