 Bothy Cottage sleeps 3 people (or 5 with living room sofa bed) and is in the peaceful village of Dundrennan, near Kirkcudbright, Dumfries & Galloway. Raised up away from the road, it is situated on 'The Terrace' which formed the original road through the village and has views of the hills, farmland and the enchanting ruins of 12th century Dundrennan Abbey. - Dundrennan is 10 minutes drive from the picturesque Artists' Town of Kirkcudbright. The gently twisting road allows glimpses of the Solway Firth, and on a clear night, even the shimmering lights of Workington across the water in Cumbria.
 - Bothy Cottage is perfectly situated for those wishing to enjoy a quiet, scenic location, convenient for exploring the nearby historic and artistic attractions of Kirkcudbright and the surrounding area.
- Please note Bothy Cottage is let on a weekly basis starting from a Sunday. It is advertised as available from June to September only, but we can take bookings for May and October if requested.
ACCOMMODATION BEDROOMS: 1 double, with built-in wardrobe and dressing table. 1 single, with chest of drawers and wardrobe. Hairdryer. Bed linen included. LIVING ROOM: Sofa bed. Spacious dining area with large table. TV and DVD player. Books, jigsaws and board games. KITCHEN: Electric hob and oven. Fridge and freezer. Washing machine. Microwave. Understairs cupboard with vacuum, iron, etc. Back door leading to decked area. BATHROOM: Fully tiled. Bath with electric shower over. Towels included. OUTSIDE: Small enclosed decked area at back. Outside table and 2 chairs. Off-road parking at front.
