The Spring has arrived with lambs in the fields and trees coming out and looking beautiful. The light is great at this time of year, often clear with long views. We have just finished decorating the living room, stairs and landing and BOLTSLAW COTTAGE is looking good. It is cosy and comfortable with comfy seating and lots of logs in the woodshed. Nothing like curling up by the log stove with a good book in the evenings or if you get a wet spell. Try it for a weekend or a short break!
For a delicious meal, the newly refurbished Lord Crewe Arms pub/hotel in Blanchland has re-opened and reports are excellent! Local meats are currently on the menu. There is also a bar at the Sports Club.
Many of our guests come back again and again and one family like the cottage and area so much they came for four weeks in 2013 and eight weeks last year!! Another family are due for their third visit in eight months!
Other guests returned after a long break and wrote "Many thanks - everything is perfect in the cottage and it was lovely to be back."
