The weather has been great and though the heather is over, the countryside is still looking fantastic, particularly the beautiful light in the early evenings. The cottage is cosy and comfortable - lots of logs in the woodshed and nothing like curling up by the log stove with a good book as the evenings get cooler! BOLTSLAW COTTAGE is looking fresh and clean with new paintwork in kitchen and main bedroom.
For a delicious meal, the newly refurbished Lord Crewe Arms pub in Blanchland has re-opened and reports are excellent! Grouse and partridge currently on the menu! There is also a bar at the Sports Club.
