The Bolthole is a charming characterful cottage, newly converted from 19th century farm buildings and set in stunning open countryside.

The accommodation offers:

A "home from home" country holiday for 4 (or 5 if some are children);
Large well-stocked kitchen/diner with oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher;
Cosy living room with TV, CD and DVD players and a selection of books and DVDs;
Living room opens to the side and rear onto a large raised decking area with garden furniture and barbecue;
Stairs from the kitchen lead up to two double rooms, with original barn beams, the first with an ensuite shower;
The second double room includes a folding bed so is suitable for 3 children;
There is also a family bathroom;
Outside is an extensive split-level garden, perfect for relaxing or exploring;
All bed linen (other than cot linen) and towels are provided and beds are made up;
We have provided a travel cot and high chair;
Change-over is Friday and short breaks are available in winter months and with late availability.

In a great location:

The cottage itself has wonderful views to all aspects (classed by the Local Authority as an "Area of High Landscape Value");
It is 10 minutes from Alnwick which has a great choice of shops and restaurants together with the famous Alnwick Castle;
The coast is only 20 minutes drive away so you can make the most of some of the most beautiful unspoilt beaches in the land;
The area is also perfect for serious walkers and strollers alike with the Cheviot Hills to the east;
If you are a history fan, there are also more historic castles close by than anywhere else in the country.
