This pretty 200 year old, end of terrace cottage is situated in the church end of Swerford, opposite the ancient Motte and Bailey castle. It boasts many original features and offers both old world charm and modern day comfort. - Swerford can count itself as being amongst the prettiest villages in Oxfordshire and is surrounded by fantastic rolling countryside, with many beautiful walks, abounding in flora and fauna.
- It lies midway between Oxford (with Blenheim Palace only twenty minutes drive away) and Stratford-upon-Avon.
- It is ideally located on the edge of the Cotswold Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty, with many varied places of interest within easy reach.
- Hook Norton, a large village 2 miles away, has local shops, pottery, its own prize winning brewery and, of course, several good pubs.
- The ancient market town of Chipping Norton (5 miles) has supermarkets, theatre, a new leisure centre, coffee shops, museum and many antique shops.
Accommodation The cottage is built using the local stone and has exposed beams throughout. Downstairs comprises an entrance hall, country kitchen, shower room, utility area, dining room and a spacious lounge. The lounge is equipped with a broadband wireless router and computer. Upstairs you will find three cottage bedrooms, two with double beds and one with a single, and a bathroom. There are stairs at both ends of the cottage.
