 For people looking for a peaceful break away from the maddening crowd. Set on a hillside above Clew Bay, surrounded by beautiful countryside just 10 minutes drive from the pilgrimage site of Croagh Patrick. - Ten minutes drive also takes you to award winning beaches and traditional pubs with traditional Irish hospitality.
- To the east a twenty minute drive takes you to the bustling town of Westport and fifteen minutes to the west, the picturesque town of Louisburgh.
- The surrounding area also boasts world class Golf courses and great fishing.
Accommodation This recently renovated cottage is suitable for all year round visits, benefiting from total double glazing, oil fired central heating and an open fire in the cosy lounge. Accommodation comprises comfortable lounge, kitchen dining room, two double bedrooms (one with double bed and one with two single beds ) and a shower room with wash basin and w.c. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. The lounge is furnished with a new full size lounge suite, satellite TV, DVD and CD player. Rental includes all bed linen and towels but does not include electricity and oil which is charged based on usage. Outside - The property stands in a half acre of mature gardens surrounded on two sides by mature trees and on the other by beautiful fuchsia hedges.
- Ample parking is provided.
Travel - From outside Ireland, the cottage is one hours drive from Knock Airport, one and a half hours from Shannon and three from Dublin.
- Car hire available at all airports.
- Regular train services run between Dublin and Westport.
