Blawearie House is a traditional detached Scottish farmhouse built before 1780's on an elevated site. Situated on Kingennie estate it has panoramic views over surrounding farmland out to sea and Kingennie Fishings and Kingennie Golf Course. Set in large beautiful gardens it affords privacy and tranquillity in an idyllic location well away from busy roads. Enjoy the stunning landscaped gardens with Scots Pine trees, mature shrubs, stone dykes and abundant local wildlife especially the varied wild birds, which include thrushes, yellowhammers, finches, wrens, swans, herons, and grey partridge.

Blawearie House is a much loved family holiday home which provides total relaxation within its house and gardens and fantastic space to comfortably entertain family and friends. We invite you to come and enjoy!

  • With a multitude of activities on offer locally, including the fabulous facilities of the new golf course, Waterside Restaurant & Bar and Kingennie Fishings just a few minutes walk from the house.
  • Monikie Country Park (5 mins) offers a range of watersports and there are many beautiful local beaches and wild life reserves within a short drive.
  • For serious golfers there are many famous local golf courses all within an easy drive including St Andrews and Carnoustie.
  • Just a few miles inland from the popular seaside town of Broughty Ferry, (5 mins drive, includes new M&S foodhall too!), set in stunning Angus countryside and at the foot of the Angus Glens with fantastic hillwalking and yet just 15 minutes from the city centre shopping and culture of Dundee, Blawearie House provides an unrivalled holiday destination at any time of year.

  • Four bedrooms and bathroom upstairs and an additional single bedroom and luxury shower room downstairs. A king size double bedroom, twin bedroom, adult sized bunk bedroom, double bedroom and single bedroom and double sofa bed provides for flexible sleeping requirements.
