The trail is suitable for beginners and families (blue), proficient mountain bikers (red) and experts looking for a hard route (black).
The town centre of Lochgilphead has many speciality shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and has a swimming pool with gym. Lochgilphead is well placed to use as a base to explore the West Highlands where you can easily travel to Inveraray, Oban, Campbelltown, the Islands and all those little villages and tourist traps in between.
Hill walking, climbing, mountain biking, pony trekking, golfing, sailing, fishing, surfing, karting, whiskey tasting and bird watching are only some of the activities that are on your doorstep and the surrounding areas.
