 Blackmoss nestles in magnificant open countryside enjoying superb views across to the Kentmere Fells and Lakeland Hills - especially stunning with the backdrop of a setting sun. This small working farm, grazing Rough Fell sheep on its 24 acres, is approached along a quiet single track gated lane and offers our vistors the peace and tranquility of rural Lakeland. - Blackmoss is the ideal location for further exploration of the Lake Distict National Park.
- Closer to home we have miles of easy walking (or biking) on unfenced lanes where wandering sheep far out-number any vehicles you may encounter.
 - A labyrinth of footpaths span the surrounding fells. Birds and wildlife abound in profusion.
Accommodation
The cottage is a delightful conversion of two outbuildings retaining some of the original features including oak beams. - The front door opens into a cosy living room with easy seating, colour TV, dining area and fully fitted kitchen.
- Upstairs is a cottagey double bedroom and a good sized bathroom.
- All rooms enjoy wonderful views towards the Kentmere Fells.
 - The garden furniture on the lawn outside is exclusively for our guests use - a place where you can sit and relax while taking in the sights and sounds of this very special place.
- Central heating and electricty are included in the price.
