Blackmoss nestles in magnificant open countryside enjoying superb views across to the Kentmere Fells and Lakeland Hills - especially stunning with the backdrop of a setting sun. This small working farm, grazing Rough Fell sheep on its 24 acres, is approached along a quiet single track gated lane and offers our vistors the peace and tranquility of rural Lakeland.
Blackmoss is the ideal location for further exploration of the Lake Distict National Park.
Closer to home we have miles of easy walking (or biking) on unfenced lanes where wandering sheep far out-number any vehicles you may encounter.
A labyrinth of footpaths span the surrounding fells. Birds and wildlife abound in profusion.
