 Situated midway between Harrogate and York, near the village of Tockwith, Ben's Cottage offers a warm and friendly welcome to those who wish to be surrounded by countryside yet be in striking distance of some of the most picturesque and exciting places in the county.
This lovely 4 bedroomed cottage, converted from farm buildings, offers a delightful, luxurious, single storey holiday home. It is extremely spacious and sleeps 8 comfortably. Awarded 4 stars by the ETC, the centrally heated accommodation has been specially designed to accommodate 2 families. There are four bedrooms (one king size) and two bathrooms - Bathroom 1: has bath and thermostatic shower. Bathroom 2: has large walk-in shower. Two bedrooms and a bathroom are on one side of the cottage and two bedrooms and a bathroom on the other, separated by a large lounge, kitchen and dining area. The fully fitted kitchen is complete with all modern amenities including dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Separate dining area with colour TV and a large lounge with a further colour TV, DVD and video. Outside there is a pretty cottage garden with dining area and barbecue. For children there is a play area with tree house, climbing frame, swings and adjoining football pitch. Horse riding and tennis can be arranged locally. Golf courses and swimming pools are only a short drive away. For rainy days there are games, books, jigsaws, DVDs and videos within the cottage.
