The Isle of Man is famous for its beautiful glens and scenery; its Victorian steam and electric coastal railways, the horse trams on Douglas promenade and the largest water wheel in the world, found in Laxey. The island is well equipped with sporting and recreational facilities such as sea, lake and river fishing, boat trips to the Calf of Man or to catch a glimpse of the famous basking sharks, not to mention 8 superb golf courses. There are narrow gauge railways in the Wildlife Park, in Groudle Glen, and the newly restored original miners railway at Laxey!
 
Accommodation The cottage is in the historic fishing port of Peel, positioned immediately opposite the beach, overlooking the bay and the castle and it has been attractively updated into holiday accommodation. There are 2 double bedrooms and a modern family bathroom upstairs. Downstairs comprises a large living room with separate dining area and fully fitted kitchen opening onto a rear patio area. Leather sofa bed. It has been lovingly renovated to provide home from home comfort for both the business and leisure traveller, and is easily accessible from the airport and ferry services. It is fully equipped with 42 inch plasma colour television. Bed linen and towels are provided for up to 5 guests (please bring your own beach towels). A washer/dryer is provided. Gas central heating and electricity are inclusive. Location - The seafront position is perfect for admiring the striking Peel sunsets and is ideally situated as a base to explore this attractive island.
- The picturesque City of Peel offers a variety of walks and is rich in history with a state of the art Heritage Centre and ancient castle.
- Seal and shark boat trips depart nearby and the cottage is within 5 minutes walk of a selection of local museums, restaurants and pubs. And best of all - less than a stone's throw from the super sandy beach!
