Beckview is one of five cottages that comprise a 200 year old traditional stone Lakeland building located in the peaceful hamlet of Millbeck. The bustling market town of Keswick, located on the shores of Derwent Water, is only two miles away.
 
Millbeck nestles on the south facing lower slopes of Skiddaw mountain and provides a perfect location for direct access to the foot paths on the fells in the Skiddaw and Dodd wood area. Access to the cottages is via a short stone track that runs adjacent to the Mill Beck, the course of which continues up the hill in front of the cottages. Beckview's garden has a sunny aspect and is bounded by a wild meadow, with woodland and the fells beyond. Red squirrels and deer are frequently to be seen.
Accommodation  Ground floor comprises beamed dining kitchen with slate floor, oven, hob, fridge-freezer, washer-dryer, dishwasher and microwave; cosy lounge with open fire (logs provided) TV/DVD/CD and direct access to the pretty garden with dining furniture. First floor comprises family bathroom; double bedroom with king-sized bed; single bedroom with TV, board games, super-size cushions and armchair, making it suitable for a childrens' lounge and/or bedroom. Second floor comprises large beamed double bedroom with king-sized bed and ensuite shower room with WC; bedroom with good quality 3 ft wide bunk beds and additional 3ft single bed. This cottage is very comfortably furnished and suitable for families with children of all ages and groups of adults are more than welcome. The cottage is heated throughout and all bed linen, fuel and a complimentary welcome pack are included.
