Taylors, the Penthouse, and No.1 situated in this converted beautiful Georgian Mansion. Each apartment has its own character - Taylors and No.1 being decorated along classical lines, whilst the Penthouse is unreservedly modern. The properties can be booked individually or in pairs for up to 11 people as the living accommodation in the Penthouse is so large it ensures that dining and entertaining for these numbers is not a problem. Larger groups can be accommodated sleeping up to 36 in the immediate vicinity.

TAYLORS is situated on the 1st floor, and has:  
  • Two bedrooms the main a super kingsize double (or it can be set up as a twin), plus a 2nd bedroom which has a standards size double bed and a single bed in it making it ideal as a family room or a twin.
  • One large family bathroom.
  • Open plan lounge kitchen diner with hand made kitchen housing every conceivable device that you'll need for holiday catering - from a sandwich to a gourmet meal - this apartment even has an integral, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer/drier and massive electric range style stove with 5 ring ceramic hob.
  • Glorious views across the grounds and gardens towards the 13th century church of St. Ebbas.
 THE PENTHOUSE - as one would expect is situated in the upper part of the house, partially created from the old servants quarters and attics, but as the name suggests this property oozes modern day living:  
  • A 38 foot long lounge has solid oak floors, stainless steel and glass stair case to a mezzanine which in turn opens out onto a decked balcony. This is ideal for alfresco dining, or sundowners enjoying the sunset over the Cheviot Hills and Bamburgh Castle and on a clear day out to sea you'll spot the Farne Islands and Longstone lighthouse.
  • With two super king double bedrooms (which can both be set up as twins), one ensuite shower room and a luxurious family bathroom with 1700mm walkin shower this property offers luxury self catering holiday accommodation at its best.
  • The feature living area combines kitchen, dining and living room all in one with vaulted ceiling, beams, log burning stove and the cottage is underfloor heated throughout.
  • The bedrooms provide twin/king size double, double and twin rooms, one ensuite and a large bathroom, bath with shower over. Note there are 3 steps from the living area up to the bedroom area.
 No.1 Beadnell House - is situated on the ground floor and benefits from an amazing amount of space, easy access for those who are less mobile and outdoor space which is secure for children.  
  • The spacious living room has double aspect windows so is bright and airy, and has an open fire, providing cosy living in the autumn and winter months. This room leads straight through to
  • the stunning kitchen with range cooker, american fridge freezer and central island, both the rooms retain the original wooden floors, high ceilings, cornice etc and really wide original georgian doors.
  • 3 good sized bedrooms provide a king size double with huge ensuite bathroom with separate walk in shower, twin room, and a further double room which both use the main bathroom with deep bath and separate shower.
  • Outside space is provided on two sides, a fully enclosed walled courtyard, and an open courtyard to the front with barbecue and picnic table.
Location  
  • Each apartment, with two designated car parking spaces, is well situated within walking distance of the glorious Beadnell Bay, close also to 2 pubs and restaurants and local bus services stop at the main gate.
  • The village shop/ Post office is only 800 metres away.
  • We welcome pets and children in Taylors apartment.
  • The Penthouse is a grown up space and we advise that children should be 10+ to stay here and does not accept pets.
  • No1. does not accept pets.
  • A good housekeeping bond is required at each of these properties, please ask for details on booking.
Accommodation  
  • The main areas of Beadnell House are lit automatically, so no fumbling around for your keys. All apartments have door entry systems.
  • Our bedrooms in Taylors and the Penthouse offer flexibility: those with super kingsize beds can also split into 2x 3' singles.
  • Bathrooms and shower rooms are tiled with travertine and underfloor heated.
  • All apartments have central heating, Taylors has an LPG gas fire in traditional surround and No.1 has a real fire, the Penthouse has an electric stv.
  • The kitchens are hand made, and well equipped with amongst other things (please see our website for full details): Electric cooker with ceramic hob, Fridge, Freezer, (the Penthouse and No.1 is an American side by side) Dishwasher, Microwave, Toaster, large kettle... In fact, everything you need whether making a sandwich or a gourmet meal.
  • The apartments can be booked individually or together, along with other properties we manage in the grounds, so if you are looking to accommodate larger numbers we can subject to availability sleep up to 36 in this location please ring for details.
WE'RE GREEN CLEAN AND ECO FRIENDLY  
  • The apartments are cleaned, and our linen is laundered with, eco-friendly products.
  • The apartments are powered by a green electricity supplier and we use low energy lighting wherever possible.
  • As a new conversion the building is insulated and double glazed to achieve up to the minute criteria.
  • We leave you eco-friendly products to use during your stay and our welcome grocery pack is stocked wherever possible with local produce.
  • We encourage wildlife in the grounds with our planting and provide many reference books which will be of interest to both adults and children keen to spot species of birds and rock pool inhabitants.

  • 15 miles south of Lindisfarne Holy Island.
