 Situated deep in the unspoilt countryside between the Cheviot Hills and the magnificent Northumbrian coastline, Beacon Hill Farm stands on the site of an ancient Beacon and has marvellous views in all directions. - Beacon Hill is a 350 acre grass farm with 40 acres of ancient Beech woods that are home to a wide variety of birds and animals.

The Cottages: We have 15 cottages on our beautiful 350 acre farm, with acres of woodland and marvellous views to the coast and Cheviot Hills. The cottages, which are set in landscaped gardens in the middle of the estate, are all of an exceptional standard. Awards:

We are the only business to have reached the final of England's Self-Catering Holiday of the Year on three occasions, and the only one to have won this prestigious award twice, in 1991 and 2000.  Facilities: Each cottage is fully equipped with everything one could possibly need, including colour television, fan-assisted and microwave ovens, dishwasher, washer-drier and deep freeze. All have central heating, masses of books, colour television, radio, quality pictures and prints, comfortable chairs and superb views; most even have log fires. All cottages have a CD player. The Swimming Pool
From 7.00 a.m. until 10.00 p.m. all of our guests can take advantage of our 40 ft x 16 ft heated swimming pool, housed in a 75 ft long slate-roofed building with changing rooms and a small kitchen. They can also enjoy a sauna, steam bath, top up their tan in the vertical sun shower, or relax in pulsating warm water in the spa.
The Gymnasium
For the fitness fanatics, a large, well-equipped gym is ready and waiting. There are double-glazed windows around the pool with superb views across rolling countryside towards the distant Scottish Border. A facility of this standard, and in this unique setting, is unrivalled in a business of our size and is comparable with what you might expect to find in a high-class hotel.
Tennis
We have a green and red all-weather court, which is available from dawn till dusk.
Games Room
This is a large, heated games room next door to the swimming pool which offers table tennis, pool, bar football, and a lounge area with colour television.
Adventure Playground
Children will enjoy this covered adventure playground.
Cricket Net
We have an all-weather cricket net.
Fishing at Meg's Lake
Our guests are welcome to try fly-fishing at our beautifully located two acre lake stocked with Rainbow Trout.
