Visitors reviews:
We had a wonderful time in a cottage well fitted out and ideally suited to the 2 of us. Our hosts, Jan and Suzan, were very warm, enthusiastic and helpful, providing good advice and even fresh fish! The refurbishing was tasteful and the whole place quite cosy. The cascade of beautiful beaches just a short walk from the door made it a wonderful place to sit and watch the sunset or to start the trek up Caperval for magnificent views of the Outer Hebrides. Excellent.  Zurich

We are well travelled holiday-makers around the west coast of Scotland but had never been to the Western Isles. Harris was fantastic and well worth a visit. Great walking and cycling with beautiful beaches and the cleanest, clearest sea you will see anywhere in the world. We loved this environment and delighted in the wildlife, scenery and emptiness of the place.
Grandfather's Cottage suited us perfectly we were a family party with one teenage son who camped adjacent to the cottage for 2 weeks - no complaints from him. Well equipped cottage and we made full use of all amenities including the wood-burning stove. Jan and Suzan were the perfect hosts ensuring we were given any tips and advice on what to do or visits worth making. Could not recommend this beautiful place more highly. Edinburgh
