Tastefully furnished, to a high standard, this delightful cottage is located in a quiet road in the centre of Lyndhurst. The village with good shops and a large variety of pubs and restaurants is only five minutes walk away. The cottage is just around the corner from the Visitor Information Centre and New Forest Museum. The open New Forest surrounds Lyndhurst so there are lots of walks and cycle tracks nearby as well as many interesting places to visit by car.
Ground floor: Comfortable sitting room with TV/DVD and a small selection of DVDs. The dining room has a large pine table and chairs, a cupboard that contains board games and a book case stacked with books. The kitchen has a Smeg cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble drier and dishwasher. There is a downstairs cloakroom and small utility room - ideal for wet coats and wellies. Upstairs: - The attractive bathroom has a white bathroom suite with shower over.
- Bedroom 1: a large double room, with fitted cupboard and vanity unit with wash hand basin.
- Bedroom 2: a large twin-bedded room with wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table.
- Bedroom 3 is a small room with single bed overlooking the garden. Small wardrobe and bedside table.
Outside is a fully enclosed garden with a side gate that can be locked for safety. There is a patio with table and chairs and steps down to an attractive lawned area surrounded by flower beds and leading to a shed, suitable for the storage of bikes.
The warm and cosy cottage has full gas central heating. The beds are made-up with duvets and bed linen, as well as towels being provided.
