St Mawes, at the very tip of the truly outstanding Roseland Peninsula, is one of the most exquisite waterside villages in Cornwall, with plenty to see and do all year round. Directly on the Gulf Stream, the climate is remarkably mild in the winter and during the summer reaches Mediterranean temperatures; as a result the local flora and fauna are quite breathtaking.
Beautifully refurbished to four star accommodation standard, and brand new to the holiday market, Barolo is named after the yacht we first learned to sail in around the beautiful waters off St. Mawes and Falmouth. It is also the name of a rich but mellow Italian red wine and translates as "Wine of Kings".
