 Barley Hill Cottage is in a quiet rural situation with superb open views of the Cheviot foothills. The vast clean beaches of the Northumberland coast and Holy Island are just a short drive away, as are the historic towns of Alnwick, Berwick, Kelso and Peebles. This unspoilt region abounds in ancient castles and abbeys.

The cottage has been modernised, refurbished and redecorated throughout with antiques, pine and painted furniture.
 The living room is warm and welcoming with comfortable seating around the large multi-fuel stove, Sky TV, video recorder, DVD player, mini hi-fi and collection of CDs. The adjoining dining room will seat six adults.
There is a comprehensively equipped kitchen, large porch and a bathroom with overbath power shower.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms: One double, one twin and one single with a cabin bed suitable for a child or agile but not too tall adult!
There is a large well-stocked garden with lawns, flowerbeds and garden furniture. Outbuildings include wood and coal stores and a large garden shed containing a barbecue and room to store bikes.

Services include Full central heating from the multifuel stove, electric wall heaters, electric blankets, double glazing, immersion heater, washer-dryer, fridgefreezer, microwave and double oven electric cooker. Cot and high chair available. At the rear of the cottage there is off-road hard standing for one car with further parking at the front of the cottage. There is a telephone with honesty box. Electricity, wood, coal, bedlinen, duvets and tea towels are included in the cost. Personal towels at extra cost. Pets by arrangement. Non smoking cottage.
