Quiet and secluded, south-facing Barleycorn Barn is situated on the edge of Crowcombe village at the foot of the Quantock Hills in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Recently converted, the property is ten miles from Taunton and is perfect for exploring the coast and countryside of Somerset and North Devon. Exmoor National Park and the West Somerset Steam Railway are nearby, and the area is a walker's paradise. Quaint villages and ancient towns such as Dunster with its famous Castle make the region a year round holiday destination.
Although the Barn is self-catering, a flexible B&B option is also offered for the convenience of guests, and personal pick-ups can be arranged.
Short or long stays are available throughout the year.
There are direct walks onto the Quantock Hills and Crowcombe village has a friendly 17th Century pub serving meals in addition to a well-stocked shop and post office and church dating back to 1226.
