Contemporary open-plan living accommodation suitable for families of 2 adults and 2 children, walkers, cyclists, fans of Jane Austen, National Trust properties, interesting gardens, steam train enthusiasts and bird watchers. Internet and mobile phone access, pet friendly, eco-friendly and welcoming. Self Catering facilities include:  

• Bedroom with double bed, hairdryer, dressing table and armchair.
• Quality Egyptian cotton bed linen provided.
• Luxury bathroom with slate flooring and deep roll top bath with shower.
• Quality Egyptian cotton towels provided.
• Fully equipped kitchen facilities.
• Laundry facilities, washing machine, drying and ironing facilities.
• Living area with TV, DVD, Freeview, well stocked library, games.
• Sleeping arrangements for children are double sofa-bed, fold-up beds or travel cot.
• Bed linens supplied for sofa-bed and fold-up beds, but not for travel cot.
• Glazed Garden Room with conservatory furniture, TV/DVD, dining table and chairs.
• Central heating, electricity and hot water included.
• Ground floor accommodation.

In addition we at The Barn go that bit further and include:  

• Welcome hamper of tea, filter coffee, milk, Barford Farm eggs, home baked cake.
• Help and advice on where to go and what to see in the local area and beyond.
• Children's bicycles and outdoor games.
• Hens to feed and a pony to groom.
• Garden furniture and BBQ.
• Ample parking space adjacent to The Barn.
• Free internet and mobile phone access.
• Home grown garden produce straight out of the ground and freshly collected bantam eggs.
• Short breaks available.

For a small extra charge we can offer:  

• Breakfast and other meals.
• Small well-behaved dog welcome by arrangement.

Guests are very welcome to explore our ten acres of private grounds and enjoy the spectacular views over open countryside, scented gardens, paddocks, wildflower meadows, ancient woodland and our recently planted vineyard. Binoculars are available but you may prefer to bring your own. Within our grounds roe deer, badgers, foxes, rabbits can all be seen. Also a good variety of birds which include regular visits from kestrels, woodpeckers, tawnies, resident buzzards and Barnie our barn owl.
