 The Barn at Barford Farm House is located in the village of Medstead on the north west boundary of the South Downs and at almost 700 feet above sea level enjoys panoramic views south towards Winchester. Located midway between Jane Austen's Chawton and the picturesque Georgian market town of Alresford, it is peacefully situated in over 10 acres of private grounds and surrounded by ideal walking and cycling countryside. Popular Watercress Line (steam trains) 10 minute drive.
Accommodation
High levels of cleanliness and customer service can be expected. The former Edwardian barn has been furnished to a high standard and consists of:  - Double bedroom area with wing chair, pine dressing table, hair dryer, radio/CD player;
- Living area with double sofa bed, coffee table, wing chair, pine bookcase filled with good selection of reading material and board games. TV with Freeview, DVD player. Basket of tourist info, maps etc. Z-bed/cot available;
- Spacious ensuite bathroom with slate flooring. Deep roll top bath with pumped shower over, complimentary toiletries, towels provided. Kindly note that access to the bathroom is through the main bedroom.
- Fully equipped kitchen facilities with solid oak units, electric cooker, microwave, washing machine, toaster, contemporary utensils and crockery.
- Wooden floors and rugs throughout.
 - Separate Garden Room adjoining the main barn provides a dining area with extended views over the gardens, paddocks and to the woods beyond. TV/DVD. Dining table and 4 chairs. Furnished with rattan conservatory furniture providing a further area in which to relax;
- Large storage room separated from main living area by stable door is also home to the ironing facilities;
- Private seating area in the garden, use of the paddocks and woods.
