Our four cottages are on a typical Galloway working farm specialising in rare Belted Galloway Cattle. There is plenty of gentle walking and stunning views. The farm is only two miles from Dalbeattie, and its forests, with miles of walks and cycle tracks. We are twelve miles from the thriving regional centre of Dumfries, five miles from Sandyhills beach and similar distances from Rockcliffe and the yachting centre of Kippford.  

• The cottages have all been extensively updated and modernised and retain many original features.
• They are all two bedroomed and each sleeps four.
• The cottages have fridges, freezers, washing machines and dishwashers.
• Some cottages have two bathrooms and wood burning stoves.
• All the cottages have enclosed gardens and patio areas and one in particular has a large garden making it ideal for pets.
• Our prices are fully inclusive of oil central heating, electricity and bedding.

Stable Cottage
Stable Cottage is our largest cottage converted from an original stable to make highly desirable and comfortable accommodation while retaining many original features. The master bedroom has en-suite facilities and the living room has a woodburning stove.

Barn Cottage
Barn Cottage has a family bathroom and the twin bedroom has an ensuite shower room. So that the views from the cottage can be fully appreciated we have situated the living room with woodburning stove on the first floor.

Mill Cottage
This comfortable cottage has beautiful wooden floors in the living room and a particularly spacious kitchen. There is a family bathroom with a powerful shower. Pets are welcome.

Barclosh Farm Cottage
Barclosh Farm Cottage was originally a farm workers' home dating from the late 19th Century. Although it has been fully restored many original features have been retained. Sorry no dishwasher or freezer in this cottage but it is the one with the large garden suitable for pets.
