 Balbeg Farm Holiday Cottage is situated on the banks of Loch Tay, with the spectacular backdrop of Ben Lawers, the highest munro in Perthshire. The location is an ideal base for a walking, sightseeing or activity holiday, or just for a peaceful relaxing get away. Loch Tay is well known for fishing and watersports. - The cottage is on a working hill sheep and cattle farm, and you can often view our blackface sheep and suckler cows from the cottage.
- The cottage is within easy travelling distance of local attractions such as The Crannog near Kenmore, Dewars Distillery in Aberfeldy, Pitlochry Festival Theatre, Blair Castle.
 - We are surrounded by magnificent scenery in the area such as Queens View at Loch Tummel, the Falls of Dochart at Killin - not to mention the surrounding peaks of Ben Lawers, the Lawers range and Schiehallion.
Accommodation
The cottage was converted from the former farm stable and byre, completed in summer 2005. You will find the accommodation modern and spacious with magnificent views down Loch Tay towards Kenmore. - The cottage is well equipped and features a fully fitted kitchen with oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave.
 - In the lounge french doors lead out onto the patio and garden, or if you prefer to stay in, a colour television and dvd player are provided for your use. The lounge also features a wood burning stove (fuel can be provided during the winter months). The dining area will comfortably seat six.
- There is a large family bathroom downstairs with bath and separate shower.
- Upstairs there are 2 spacious bedrooms, a double and a twin room with underbeds allows up to six people to sleep comfortably. There is ample storage space and duvets, pillows and blankets are provided for all beds.
- The cottage has full central heating.
