 Baincraig Lodge offers a superb self-catering holiday experience. This one-off, exclusive retreat is designed to appeal to 'grown ups' seeking rest and relaxation in delightful rural surroundings. Situated on the lower slopes of a south-facing hillside, Baincraig Steading is wonderfully sheltered with fabulous views across the valley to Falkland and the Lomond Hills. Auchtermuchty village is just a short walk down the lane - near enough for convenience yet far enough away to pretend it's not really there at all!
The Lodge is centrally heated, beautifully presented and very well appointed with quality furnishings and fittings. With the main areas facing south, you can enjoy the view at all times of year and sitting out on the wraparound verandah in the evening, you can enjoy a nightcap as you watch the sun disappear over the horizon to the west.
Accommodation comprises: Lounge, Diner/kitchen, Utility/laundry room, Hall, Bathroom, Bedroom 1 (King with en-suite), Bedroom 2 (twin). Master bedroom has a 15" Wall-mounted LCD TV. Free Broadband Wi-fi. Verandah, Outdoor seating, Garden area, Ample parking. All fuel costs are included. If you get tired of relaxing, you could choose from a wide variety of activities which are to be found close by. For example, there are over 100 golf courses within striking distance by car and we are only 20 miles from the home of golf at St. Andrews. Somebody once said Auchtermuchty was the 'centre of the universe' - perhaps they were right!
