 Badger Cottage is in a super location in the heart of the Peak District National Park and has spectacular views over Monsal Dale, and wonderful walks from the door. There's a large sunny garden and plenty of space nearby to park your car.

Badger Cottage is mid terraced and is in the centre of Cressbrook near to the pub. It's grade 2 listed and has received a Greenwatch Award for the conservation of the cottage. It is extremely well furnished, centrally heated and is equipped with everything you will need for your stay. There's an excellent choice of pubs and restaurants in the locality and an abundance of castles, caverns, stately homes, theme parks and gardens to explore nearby. Buxton, Bakewell and Chatsworth House are just a 10 minute drive. Alton Towers is just an hour away. Cressbrook is a very picturesque village, said to be Derbyshire's best kept secret!

Wildlife abounds and many guests do spot a badger!

Accommodation includes:  
  • A welcoming sitting room with Derbyshire fireplace and log burner. There is a widescreen HD TV, and CD/DVD. Games, books and DVD's to make you feel at home.
  • The dining kitchen is well equipped with plenty of crockery, glassware and utensils for your stay. There is a dishwasher and washer/dryer, hob and oven, microwave, ironing facilities and a fridge with ice box. The oak table and chairs seat 6.
  • The bathroom downstairs has a bath with shower above, lavatory and handbasin with lighted mirror and shaver point.
  • Upstairs there is a shower room with lavatory and handbasin.
  • There are three bedrooms, two are double and one has sturdy full size bunk beds. The master bedroom has a romantic cast iron bed with drapes, and portable TV; it is ideal to relax in after a day's walking. All rooms have lovely rural views and are not overlooked.
  • All rooms are tastefully furnished with good quality furniture and antiques.
  • The cottage is fully centrally heated.
  • Sunny south facing cottage garden to front with breathtaking views over Monsal Dale (garden has stepped access from road).
  • Walled and gated rear patio with barbecue and garden furniture.
  • Pets are welcome and are subject to a cover charge.
