Auchavan Stables offers spacious bright well-appointed accommodation set in this outstandingly beautiful and peaceful highland glen within the Cairngorms National Park.

Enjoy just chilling out in spectacular scenery.
Auchavan Estate has an abundance of wildlife that offers superb opportunity for viewing many different species of animals and birds.
Visit the lochs to the west or the beautiful coast and beaches to the east.
For the more active there is superb hill walking, mountain biking and cycling from your doorstep to suit all abilities.
Glenshee ski slopes are close-by in winter and in summer golfers are spoilt for choice by many first class courses.

Accommodation

The cottage is very conveniently laid out on one level with generous rooms throughout. It is non-smoking.
The spacious comfortable sitting room has a large open fireplace with ample supplies of wood available. Digital freeview TV/DVD/CD, and a small library of films, music, books and games.
Large kitchen/dining room with TV/DVD/CD and plenty of space for congregating where the action is. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher.
Separate utility room with Belfast sink, washing machine, tumble dryer and pulley.
3 bedrooms all with washbasins and shaving point: 1 kingsize double, 1 twin and 1 large family room with twin beds and set of full size bunks. All linen provided (duvets) and towels.
Family bathroom with heated tiled floor, bath, separate large shower, basin and WC.
Shower room with WC and hand basin.
Cot and high chair are available on request.
Oil fired central heating throughout.
Private fenced garden including ample parking for 3 cars.
Outside patio, picnic table and barbecue. Bike store and wood shed.

Location

During your stay why not visit some of the nearby famous attractions: Balmoral, Blair, Glamis Castles and Scone Palace are all within an hour's drive.
For golf fans there are 7 courses within a 30 minute drive or St Andrews and Carnoustie are also within reach. For some family fun the 9-hole highland course at Dalmunzie Hotel, Spittal of Glenshee should not be missed.
For shoppers why not visit House of Bruar ('Harrods in the Hills') or if you fancy a wee dram then stop off at Edradour distillery by Pitlochry followed by an evening at the renowned festival theatre nearby.
