Auchavan Stables offers spacious bright well-appointed accommodation set in this outstandingly beautiful and peaceful highland glen within the Cairngorms National Park. - Enjoy just chilling out in spectacular scenery; tour Angus, Perthshire and the surrounding glens, or venture further afield.
- Visit the lochs to the west or the beautiful coast and beaches to the east.
- For the more active golfing, mountain biking, pony-trekking, sailing and hill walking can be found to suit all abilities.
Accommodation The cottage is very conveniently laid out on one level with generous rooms throughout. It is non-smoking. The spacious comfortable sitting room has a large open fireplace with ample supplies of wood available. Colour TV/Sky - family package, stereo/CD player, books and games. Dining room with seating for 8 - 10. Large well-equipped family kitchen with breakfast area, with electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. 3 bedrooms all with washbasins and shaving point: 1 kingsize double, 1 twin and 1 large family room with twin beds and set of full size bunks. All linen provided (duvets) and towels. Family bathroom with WC. Shower room with WC and hand basin. Cot and high chair are available on request. Electricity is by meter reading. Oil fired central heating throughout. Winter season fuel supplement £5 per night. Ample parking for 3 cars. Outside picnic table. Location - During your stay why not visit some of the nearby famous attractions: Balmoral, Blair, Glamis Castles and Scone Palace are all about an hour's drive.
- For golf fans there are 4 courses within an 18 mile radius or St Andrews and Carnoustie are also only about one hour's drive.
- For shoppers why not visit House of Bruar ('Harrods in the Hills') or if you fancy a wee dram then stop off at Edradour distillery by Pitlochry followed by an evening at the renowned festival theatre nearby.
