is probably the best two bedroomed, two bathroomed cottage in Askrigg. It is a very special cottage, luxuriously equipped, yet still has that home from home feel that you want from a holiday cottage. It has many original features, including beamed ceilings, stone flagged floors, an old bread oven and amazingly thick walls, with a pretty cottage garden where you can sit and relax in either sun or shade with the stream running over the garden wall.  

• The cottage accommodates 4 people very easily in two bedrooms, one with a super king sized bed, and one twin room.
• There is a traditional cottage dining kitchen, utility room, separate dining room and lounge with large, very comfortable sofas to curl up on and relax in front of the multi fuel stove.
• With the 5 star grading come the extras which you would want to find in this lovely and unique cottage-large, fluffy White Company towels, TV's in the bedrooms as well as the living room, satellite TV, Afternoon Tea Hamper awaiting your arrival, indoor and outdoor games, books and much, much more to discover as you make yourself at home for your holiday.
• This is a cottage filled with light - it has 20 windows and 4 outside doors!
• Original features abound throughout the cottage, with its thick stone walls, beams, bread oven, and window seats.
• The cottage is co-ordinated throughout and decorated with paints from Farrow and Ball and The Little Greene Paint Company.
• The mixture of new and antique furniture maintains the true cottage atmosphere whilst ensuring that you have all of the modern comforts that you have worked hard for and deserve.

The Accommodation and Features  

• Entrance porch with hanging space into the farmhouse style cream, beech and antique pine kitchen with an antique style dresser and matching table and chairs, both designed and handmade for the cottage. Stone flagged floor. The adjacent utility room gives additional and ample storage.
• The dramatic, beamed dining room also has a traditional stone flagged floor, with dining table and chairs, and windows onto both the garden and the front of the cottage.
• From here you enter the downstairs lobby with the original bread oven, and then the beamed living room which has two big, comfy settees to curl up on and relax in front of the stone fireplace with multifuel stove, and watch the large, 32" plasma TV or take advantage of the satellite TV which is included with the cottage hire.
• Upstairs the cottage has two spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. There is a large master superkingsized bedroom with a stunning handcrafted 6 ft bed and ensuite shower room, a magnificent beamed ceiling, antique furniture, and flatscreen TV. The twin bedroom has a romantic pair of white and brass beds and more antique furniture and a further flat screen TV.
• The Villeroy and Boch house bathroom has a separate large shower and bath and we provide large, fluffy White Company towels for your use.

Outside  

• The cottage garden is south facing with both sunny and shaded areas depending upon your preference.
• There is a shed for storage, garden furniture and barbecue.
• The garden is completely enclosed but young children may need supervision because of the nearby stream.
• There is parking for one car directly outside the cottage, with additional and ample parking directly across the road.
