A most charming and characterful mid 19th century stone built terraced cottage in the centre of Askrigg in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It is across the road from the pretty Askrigg Beck and the cottage is ideally placed to make the most of the village and its amenities. These include pubs, a deli, shops, restaurants and walks from the door in abundance for all ages and abilities. - Completely and sympathetically refurbished to a very high standard to make the most of its original features with deepset windows, beamed ceilings, stone flagged and oak floors, a multi fuel stove and a walled garden to relax in on warmer days.

 Accommodation and features Burn Cottage is superbly equipped, fully heated, and with short breaks available all year this means that you can take a break for as long or as short a period as you prefer-changeovers are on a Friday or Monday. - Entrance porch leads into welcoming sitting room at the front of the cottage with its comfortable seating, antique pine dresser and multifuel stove.
- Spacious and well equipped dining kitchen with white Shaker style kitchen units and antique pine dining table.
- Upstairs there are two single bedrooms, one with en-suite shower cubicle, a double room with antique style wrought iron bed and the cottage bathroom with bath, washbasin, WC and airing cupboard.

Things to do and see The cottage is superbly situated for a varied and memorable holiday. - You can make the most of the distinctive limestone scenery with walks from the door for all ages and abilities.
- Enjoy the restaurants, pubs and shops in Askrigg, which was the main location for 'All Creatures Great and Small' - you may recognise Skeldale House and The Drovers Arms from the series.
- Wider afield there are the market towns of Hawes, Leyburn and Richmond, castles at Castle Bolton, Middleham and Richmond, with York and the Lakes less than 1.5 hours away.
