Ashfield Cottage is situated in a picturesque historic mountain village in the Brecon Beacons National Park. This delightful cottage is located in a quiet lane just 5 minutes walk from the excellent shops, restaurants and pubs at the heart of the village, and is approached via a landscaped front garden with mountain views. Inside it is furnished to a very high standard. An excellent base for walking, climbing, caving, sightseeing or just relaxing, access to mountain walks from the front door, ideal location for exploring the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains.
Accommodation 3 double sized twin bedrooms upstairs, plus bathroom with basin, toilet, bath and power shower. Downstairs there is a large sitting room with stove, and dining area. Separate well equipped kitchen leading to a conservatory, utility area and second toilet. Outside To the front there is a garage and parking for 2 cars. Large landscaped front garden. To the rear is a landscaped walled courtyard with outdoor table, chairs and barbecue accessed from the kitchen and conservatory.  Facilities Bed linen provided. TV and video. Gas central heating. Cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, drier. Short breaks (off peak). 3 min walk to pub/shops. Children welcome. Sorry no pets, or smokers. Crickhowell is a small pretty Georgian market town sheltered between the slopes of Table Mountain and situated on the River Usk. Fishing, canoeing and horse riding can be arranged locally and boat hire can be arranged on the nearby Brecon-Abergavenny canal. The thriving village has excellent shops, delicatessen and facilities and is well known for its historic character and excellent pubs and restaurants, including the 15th C Bear Hotel - voted AA Pub of the Year in 2001.
