Whiting Bay is on the scenic east coast of Arran, 8 miles from the main ferry terminal at Brodick.
It has an excellent choice of quality restaurants, coffee shops, well-stocked village shops, newsagent, pharmacy, garage and post office.
There is a lovely sandy beach with views of the Holy Isle, children's play park and 18 hole golf course with fantastic views of the Ayrshire coast. There are a further 6 courses on Arran each with its own individual character and all warmly welcome visitors.
Explore Brodick Castle, Arran Distillery or enjoy the leisure facilities at Auchrannie Spa Resort. For the slightly more adventurous why not try abseiling; gorge walking, mountain biking or canoeing just a few of the many activities available from Arran Adventure Centre.
