The Beach House is a newly-built luxury house situated on a large private site on Shore Road in the idyllic village of Kildonan, Isle of Arran, overlooking the beach.
The property is on the south side of the island and commands stunning views over the Ayrshire coastline and westwards to Ireland and beyond. It also boasts superb views of the Mull of Kintyre, Ailsa Craig and Pladda island.
It is an ideal base for walkers, golfers, sailors and cyclists or those simply looking to have a really relaxing break.
Kildonan beach is noted for its large variety of sea birds ans seal colonies. The seals can be seen from The Beach House most days, basking on the rocks along the shore.
We are often visited by sharks, porpoises and dolphins, courtesy of the warm Gulf Stream currents.
As you marvel at the views and the huge variety of wildlife, the children can play on the large lawn or explore the rock pools on the beach.
Kildonan is well-served by a local hotel complete with cosy bar and excellent restaurant, and by a well-stocked grocers' store and post office.
