One of the best ways to enjoy this area is along the renowned Offas Dyke, which runs past Montgomery - also well worth a visit. An easy drive leads to one of the most interesting places in the Severn Valley - Ironbridge Gorge, the collective name for a cluster of small villages huddled together close to the town of Telford.
