The Location:  

• Ardchyline Cottage is located about 3 miles north of Strachur (hotel/shop) on Loch Fyne, some 17 miles from Inveraray.
• Reached via the A815 off the A83 Loch Lomond/ Lochgilphead/Oban road, the cottage is very centrally located offering easy touring to The Mull of Kintyre, the Oban/Fort William areas, Mull, The Road to the Isles, Ardnamurchan and Loch Ness.
• Locally, there is trout-fishing on a lochan to the front of the cottage; deep-sea fishing on Loch Fyne; wonderful walking, and bird-watching.
• The owners can also offer roe/deer-stalking and shooting on their 8,000-acre Estate.
• There are several pub/restaurants in the area to enjoy.
• Inveraray offers its Castle, golf-course, and many museums; while Dunoon, 15 miles south, opens up the whole Clyde Coast for exploration.
