This character cottage, built in the early 1900's with exposed beams, is situated in the old coaching village of Belford, Northumberland in the heart of England's Border Country. This area is abundantly supplied with places of interest. Close by on the unspoiled golden beach coast line are the castles of Warkworth, Dunstanburgh, Bamburgh and the priory and castle of Holy Island. A short drive inland is the town of Wooler, gateway to the Cheviot Hills and the beautiful Northumberland National Park beyond. Berwick upon Tweed and the Scottish Borders are also within easy access. It is conveniently situated for bird watching, cyclist and rockclimbers.
