Being on the South Downs Way, Meonstoke is ideally suited for walkers, and is within easy reach of the South Coast, Jane Austen country, the historic city of Winchester (20 mins), Petersfield (20 mins), providing fast trains to London Waterloo (1 hr), Southampton (docks and airport), LGW (1hr 15mins), Portsmouth with its Historical Docks and outlet shopping at Gunwharf Quays (30 mins), The New Forest, Beaulieu (45 mins/1hr), and the Isle of Wight Ferries from Portsmouth and Southampton (30 mins).

ACCOMMODATION  

• Sleeps 2 + 2.
• One parking space.
• Entrance hall to independent staircase leading up to the one-level, self-contained accommodation providing a fresh, light area. A calm Scandinavian feel has been created with dove-grey painted floorboards and woodwork, and off-white walls.
• Double bedroom with super-king bed/or 2 singles. View across the garden and hills beyond. Built in cupboard providing hanging and folding space.
• Sitting room area with double aspect views over the garden and hills to the back, and over the Meon Valley to the front.
• The sitting room provides 2 double sofa beds, dining table and chairs, chest of drawers, large television with Freeview, DVD and Video player, Wi-Fi, PS2, coffee table.
• Bathroom with shower over bath, and heated towel rail.
• Microwave, small portable induction hob, kettle, toaster, low-level fridge with small freezer area, storage cupboard, utensils, crockery, cutlery, pans. This has been provided in lieu of a fitted kitchen and provides basic but adequate essentials for easy holiday cooking! There is not a separate kitchen sink so guests may leave their washing up in the basket provided for me to do - the perfect holiday.
• Your beds will be freshly made up before your arrival with white Egyptian cotton bed linen.
• White cotton towels provided.
• Anti-allergy bedding provided throughout.
• Cot and high chair available on request but please provide your own cot linen and cot bedding.
• Fresh eggs available on request courtesy of The Malt House chickens.
• Table-top ironing board and iron.
• Treat of the day to have with a cup of tea on your arrival.
