 A warm welcome to Antighur - a truly deluxe self catering holiday home available for rent all year round in the heart of the Cairngorms. Antighur is situated in a beautiful, peaceful and secluded area within the Cairgorms National Park. Antighur has stunning mountain views and yet is only 15 minutes by car from Aviemore in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. It is some 10 minutes fro Grantown On Spey and 5 minutes from Boat of Garten, home to the Ospreys. Antighur is available for a maximum of 12 people and 2 dogs. There is plenty to see and do nearby in Summer and Winter or you can simply sit back, relax and enjoy the views in this fantastic home. The garden is popular with many different types of birds and red squirrels and the area abounds with wildlife . The deluxe property is maintained to a very high standard and was refurbished in January 2009. The house is fully triple glazed and all the public areas have efficient modern storage heaters. The bedrooms have individually controlled thermostatic heaters. Antighur has 5 bedrooms.
Upstairs: - Master bedroom with kingsize bed and additional sofa bed. Built in wardrobes and windows to front and rear of the house.
- Bunk room with full size bunk and window to front of property. Dressing table and wardrobe.
- Twin room with two single beds and wardrobe.
Ground floor: - Double bedded room with views to the front and with built in wardrobes and a vanity wash basin.
- Large Double bedded room with sitting area and views over the rear garden. Built in wardrobes and Victorian antique wash stand.
- The main bedrooms have plasma TVs with built in DVD players. The house has Sky and WIFI broadband.
Public Areas: - The lounge is on the first floor and has a beautiful open fire and seating for 9/10 people. There is a range of board games, 36 inch plasma TV with DVD and an entertainment centre. Sky is available in the lounge. The room has full width window front and back affording superb views over the Cairngorm Mountains.
- The large kitchen dining area has a full range of modern appliances with oven, hob microwave and air cooled American style fridge/freezer. The room is spacious and has a seating area and dining table that seats 10. French doors lead from the room onto the massive sun deck with views over the Spey and to the Cairngorm Mountains beyond. There are leather seats in the dining room and a plasma television to provide an extra living space away from the main lounge.
- The utility room is downstairs and has a washing machine and tumble dryer and a door leading to the large rear garden.
Bathrooms: - The two down stairs bedrooms have a wash hand basin.
- There is a luxurious shower room with toilet and wash hand basin on the ground floor. The big walk in shower has a steam/Turkish bath with built in seating for relaxing after a days walking or skiing.
- The main family bathroom is on the second floor and has a large deep bath with electric Mira Power shower over the bath.
Outside: - The house sits in a good sized private garden and is surrounded by open fields and woodland. The garden is fully fenced for dogs.
- A games room is situated in the double garage and houses a full size pool table and table football as well as a big screen television and DVD player. An ideal place for young adults to spend time.
- To the front of the property is large sun deck with a gas barbecue and table and chairs for eating outside in the warmer weather.
- There is private parking for up to 6 cars.
Antighur is the ideal place for families to have a relaxing holiday in peaceful surroundings whilst still being close enough for all the amenities in Speyside and Aviemore.
