 The Courtyard is a beautifully refurbished Victorian Ground Floor property particularly designed for adults, (and the not-so-young, as its all on one level). Very conveniently situated in the centre of the High Street close to all the delights that Aldeburgh has to offer...
The Courtyard is a few minutes walk from the sparkling sea and a leisurely stroll from Aldeburgh's many award winning restaurants, inns and shops. You may wish to sample Aldeburgh's many leisure facilities, take your pick from sailing on Rivers Alde and Ore, Golfing at both Aldeburgh and Thorpeness; public tennis courts, bicycles, and horse riding are all available for hire.
For classical music or a play, visit Snape Maltings, a unique collection of 19th Century buildings, and the largest of the kilns having been converted into a Concert Hall for the Aldeburgh Festival by Benjamin Britten. It is also an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Travel to Aldeburgh couldn't be simpler; you can catch a National Express Coach that stops close by, or a train to Saxmundham, which is a short taxi ride away from Aldeburgh, and there is also a bus service. If you are travelling by car, private parking is available right next to the property.
Accommodation: A Front Patio, very sunny all morning, perfect for your coffee and croissant whilst watching the world go by. A stable door leads to an... Extremely comfortably furnished living room, with two new modern sofas. You may in the evening wish to relax next to the log effect stove, whilst watching the new TV/video, or listen to a CD/cassette, whilst dining. A 'Coin de Cuisine' has an electric hob, fridge, and combination microwave, dishwasher, ample crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, and glassware. The Bedroom has two really comfortable 3ft single beds that can be pushed together making one super large zip-link 6ft bed, bedside cabinet and lamps, fitted wardrobe and a chest of drawers. The Bathroom with bath, electric shower, shaver point, basin and WC. Sunroom with table and chairs for indoors and outdoors use.
