is an original workhouse situated in its own valley overlooking the Teifi estuary, an area of outstanding beauty. Using traditional materials and methods, the owners have been painstakingly restoring the property to recreate an authentic workhouse experience and combined it with basic but modern facilities to offer glimpses of times gone by. A stay at Albro has the following advantages.

What's Provided

Plas y Berllan
Sleeps up to 14 in 6 bedrooms, all of which have estuary views. There is a bathroom on the first floor and separate shower room and toilet on the ground floor. In addition a large fully equipped kitchen, dining room and lounge provide ample space for two or three families. Outside, there is a large south-facing courtyard to the rear and garden to the front.

Pen Lon Las
A single storey wing of the building providing cosy accommodation suitable for 2 people (or 4 people if the comfortable sofa-bed is used). This provides a double bedroom, a lounge/diner with sofa-bed, wood burning stove and tables and chairs for 4 people, a compact but fully equipped kitchen and shower/toilet room.
