Nestling in the midst of the rolling Cotswolds uplands is this 250 year old detached cottage with its own summerhouse patio landscaped garden with delightful rustic views over the Wolds. Parking is available for your car immediately outside the cottage.
Accommodation The cottage has newly refurbished kitchen, microwave, washing machine double cooker and breakfast bar for 2/3 persons. Lounge with dining area and cosy Scandinavian log fire. Telephone (incoming calls only). Upstairs - two bedrooms namely: Bedroom (1) with two single beds. Bedroom (2) one new single bed with room for extra bed. Modern bathroom with bath and shower and heated airing cupboard. Gas central heating and electricity included in price. New carpets and curtains throughout are a central feature. Location - This cottage is situate in a quiet lane in the very picturesque part of the village known as "Dovedale End" Blockley, within four minutes amble of the focal point of Blockley itself, with a very friendly store staffed by villagers comprising a post office, newsagents, general stores and an inviting restaurant with light refreshments always available with a smile by those serving.
- Antique stores, teashops (for that romantic afternoon tea with your special ladyfriend - even your spouse) are to be found within 2/3 miles e.g. Chipping Camden and Moreton-in-the-Marsh.
- Country shows, National Trust homes with well-manicured gardens abound in this locality - not forgetting the honeypot villages of Broadway, Stow-in-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water, and the unspoilt villages of Upper and Lower Slaughter.
