Achnaskia Croft is situated a mile from the small village of Arisaig on the Scottish West Highland coast. All four properties have stunning views across the sea to the Cuillin mountains on Skye and the islands of Rum and Eigg, providing a cosy base at any time of year.
Summer days never end, with daylight till 11pm in June and vivid sunsets over the sea. The sun setting over snow-capped mountains, cascading waterfalls, a wilderness and its wildlife to yourself, make winter visits special. From the top of Creag Mhor, behind Achnaskia, the Hebridean islands are visible on clear days. At Achnaskia you can play volleyball, boules etc. in the field, pool or table tennis in the Games room, walk to the beach, or relax in the sauna and steam shower. Arisaig has a Spar shop with cash point machine, hotel, railway station, P.O., restaurant, cafe, visitor centre and gift shop. There are day trips to the Small Isles, frequently sighting whales or dolphins, with time to explore. With a golf course, many sandy beaches nearby, fishing on Loch Morar and so much to see locally, you'll need more than a week to fully appreciate it.
