INTERESTED IN MAKING A BOOKING?

• You will first of all need to confirm with the owner that their property is still available for the dates you require.
• It's a good idea to make enquiries with several different owners, as it is very unusual that your first choice of property will be available just when you want it - especially if your require high season weeks.
• If you are at all flexible with the dates of your holiday, it may be best simply to ask owners what weeks they still have available during certain month(s).
• If the property is available for you the owner will usually hold it for a few days until they receive written confirmation/deposit etc from you.
• Please bear in mind that holiday cottages are being booked up all the time and that the element of choice can become limited the longer one waits.

WANT TO RECEIVE FURTHER DETAILS?

• Some property owners produce their own leaflets or brochures which they can send you, together with price lists.
• Some property owners may not have leaflets or brochures available, but all of them will be glad to answer any specific questions you may have.
• Feel free to ask them questions! A property owner will know all the intricate details of what they are offering - and will tell you far more than an agency would be able to tell you.

THE PURPOSE OF THIS WEBSITE

• Please note that the Cottageguide is not a letting agency - we do not (and can not) take bookings. Neither are we able to answer questions about availability of properties for any periods you may require. However, the Late Availability feature (found in Quicksearch) does provide you with a means of checking what is known to be available during the next six weeks, and this information is submitted by the owners of the accommodation on a regular basis.
• The purpose of this website is to provide useful information about self catering holiday properties, together with information about who the owner is and how you may contact them.
