Abbey House is a superb spacious 3 bedroomed, detached stone character cottage, with a large south facing private garden set in the heart of the North York Moors National Park. Located in the pretty conservation village of Rosedale Abbey, it is built on the site of, and with stone from the old priory. This property has been lovingly restored, to the highest standards, whilst still retaining many of its original features.
Accommodation Lounge - A cosy room with two large sofas, exposed beams, and wood burning stove. Satellite SKY TV, DVD/VCR, and CD player, videos, books and games to suit all ages. Dining Room - Exposed beams, early kitchen range, wood floor and large farmhouse dining table. Kitchen - Spacious and fully fitted, stone flagged floor, electric fan oven, cooker hood, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. Utility room - Freezer, washing machine, tumbler dryer. Downstairs Cloakroom - shower, toilet. Bedrooms (3) - Cot available: - Master: king size brass bed, walk-in wardrobe, and radio alarm. - Second: two single brass beds, radio alarm and ample storage. - Third: double brass bed, radio alarm, and ample storage.  The quiet village of Rosedale Abbey, only 10 miles from Pickering, provides an excellent base for walking and touring throughout the National Park. It has easy access to the Moors, to the old Market towns of Helmsley, with its castle and stately Duncombe Park, and Pickering home of the North York Moors Steam Railway. The historic City of York is 45 minutes drive, as is the Yorkshire Heritage Coast, with its famous resorts of Scarborough, Filey, and Whitby.
Local shops, Pubs, and Restaurants are all within easy walking distance. Supermarket 10 miles.
