Quote:
'We enjoyed some lovely March days at Abbey Cottage, which lies on a quiet lane at the edge of a beautifully situated village, near the church and not far from some conserved woodland, with lovely walking in several directions - including a splendid stroll to Milton Abbey, with its magnificent cathedral-like chapel. The cottage is cosy and characterful, with a charming studio annexe; there's a useful farm shop at Ansty (a pleasant downland walk away) and there are some really good, hospitable pubs within striking distance - including the Hambro Arms at Milton Abbas, the excellent Brace of Pheasants at Plush (serving very good food), and, further afield, the Royal Oak at Cerne Abbas and the Greyhound at Sydling St Nicholas (also serving very good food). Highly recommended!'

PS.It is the Hambro Arms, isn't it?
