Abbey Cottage is in one of the most picturesque areas of Dorset. Hilton is a small quiet village and Milton Abbey is in eye shot from the fields behind the cottage.

Walks abound across the fields and woods behind the house. We are in driving distance to the coast (25 mins) and near to all the market towns of Blandford, Dorchester, Sherborne, Wareham. The countryside is stunning and local pubs with great food are all closeby and we are happy to recommend them as well as ideas for days out and walks to those that require it...

Accommodation

The cottage sleeps 4, with 1 double bed in the top bedroom and two single beds in the first floor bedroom. Both rooms renovated and redecorated recently.
There is a small living room, with open fireplace and eating area with old pine table.
A recently renovated annex room at the back which has featured in a national magazine.
There is a garden and deckchairs and table and fields are to the rear of the property with woods beyond.
There is an open fire place and a large drive for parking. Bathroom with bath: Oven, TV.

The road is a cul-de-sac looking down to the village, with the village church at the end of the small road. Everyone who has visited has enjoyed their stay and we look after our cottage with care as we love it!
