 Located in Devon's beautiful and unspoilt countryside, just a few minutes from the ancient market town of Holsworthy, yet only 20 minutes from the glorious beaches of West Cornwall. - The warm west coast weather brings magical Indian summers, sometimes stretching well into November - ideal for short or out of season breaks.
- There is something for everyone within easy reach, whatever the weather.
- Within twenty minutes drive are steam railways to ride, castles to explore, walking on the coastal path or in Cookworthy forest, cycle rides, family days out at theme parks like the Big Sheep, and wonderful beaches for surfing and body boarding - or just paddling in the pools.
- If you still have any energy left there is also archery, jousting (!), dinghy sailing on Tamar lakes, horse riding, all in beautiful surroundings - the list could go on and on.
The Grooms Cottage features:  Full central heating. Two doubles and one single bedroom (which will also take a cot) to sleep up to 5 adults or 4 and two children. Fully equipped kitchen with a herb garden outside to raid for those extra touches. Lounge / dining room with TV, DVD, freeview and audio system, and log effect gas fire. Play area with 16-foot trampoline, swing and climbing frame. Separate half acre of mown grass for other games. No charge for heating or electricity. Sea temperatures are at their best in September and there are no crowds - an ideal time for beginners. Lessons are readily available in Bude, and board and wetsuit hire is both easy to find and economical.
