Surrounded by the magnificent scenery of the Golden Valley, this authentic example of a converted, former coach house is just the place to leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind. Spend some time exploring the enchanting Black Mountains. Discover picturesque black and white half timbered villages. Visist the historic Cathedral City of Hereford. Meander through the quaint literary centre of Hay-on-Wye or play golf on some excellent, reasonably priced local courses and when you tire return to the Old Coach House and relax.

The Coach House was formerly part of the renowned Croft Country House Hotel complex, until the owners puchased the site and turned the main hotel building back into their family home.
  • The adjacent Coach House now offers self contained, centrally heated accommodation with 2 upstairs bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin, both en-suite.
  • A comfortable and cosy, country styled lounge complete with wood burner for those chilly nights and French windows opening onto it's private garden for those balmy evenings.
  • A well equipped small kitchen and a pretty dining room completes the ground floor accommodation.
  • To help you with your relaxation guests have access by arrangement with the Owners to their inviting indoor heated Swimming Pool, Sauna, Jacuzzi, Gymnasium and Games Room containing a full sized pool table.

In the local area there are within easy reach many excellent Inns, Bristro's and Restaurants for your enjoyment. So linger a while, experience Country living at its best at The Old Coach and appreciate those little extra touches provided to you which can make all the difference to your stay.

You will find The Old Coach House on the B4348 almost equidistant between Hereford and Hay-on-Wye amidst the truly womderful views of the Valley's orchards and meadows, flanked by gentle hills to the east and the dominating Black Mountains to the west.
