The Shieling is a ground floor appartment within a spacious detached villa, situated on the sea front, with a south facing secluded garden area, where you can watch the red squirrels feeding all year round.

There is a gate in the back garden, leading directly up the hill.
In the summer, there is a ferry that leaves from the slipway outside the house over to Cloanaig, in Kintyre every 1 1/4 hours, and on Sundays (seasonal) the Paddle Steamer Waverley calls into Lochranza pier for a short cruise.

Accommodation

The ground floor appartment boasts a large tastefully decorated lounge area with panoramic sea views, plus one double and two single rooms.
There is a large well appointed kitchen/dining area with double oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer.
The bathroom has a separate bath and shower.
Heating is by storage heaters with additional electric fires, if required.
All bed linen and electricity are included in the weekly rate.
The house is non-smoking.
Short breaks available during the winter season (Nov til end of Apr).
We have installed a new TV/DVD player with Sky TV - great for all the family on wet days.
