Kingsdown Holiday Park is situated in a quiet rural village location between Dover and Deal with panoramic views from the white cliffs over the English channel. The park has a heated indoor swimming pool with children's splash area, tennis court, children's play area, volleyball court, petanque court, bar/bistro with takeaway menu, laundry room, crazy golf course, table tennis and an extensive private beach - nearby activities include walking, cycling, golf, fishing and horse riding. Kingsdown Park is situated in a beautiful part of Kent and is within easy reach of the historic Canterbury and Sandwich, three medieval castles, Howletts and Port Lymph Animal Parks, day trips to the continent and 75 minutes train journey from London. Kingsdown Park really has something for everyone including those who simply want to chill out and relax.
Features of chalet 67 + 68: Our two privately owned chalets were completed in 1989 and have been maintained to a very high standard. The exceptionally positive feedback in our guest books confirm our view that they are among the best available. Both chalets have recently refurbished kitchens with dishwashers and an additional en suite toilet/wash basin upstairs. They are situated in a tranquil area of the park with a pleasant open aspect to the front and rear while remaining close to the site amenities. This area of the park is particularly safe for children to play. No cars are permitted on the park but there is ample car parking in the site car parks. Each chalet is equipped for up to six people plus a baby sleeping in a cot. There is an extra downstairs bedroom in Chalet 67 so seven or even eight could sleep should this suite your requirements. The arrangement of the accommodation is as follows: - Ground Floor(67) - two rear bedrooms one with two 3' single beds and the other with bunk beds. Lounge/dining area with double doors opening onto a front veranda.
- Ground Floor(68) - one rear bedroom with 3' bunk beds and a separate dining room opening onto the rear patio. Spacious lounge with laminate floor and double doors opening onto a front veranda.
- Ground Floor(67+68) - bathroom/toilet with bath, electric shower and heated towel rail; fully refurbished kitchen with cooker, microwave, fridge, dish washer; electric kettle and coffee maker; west facing patio with barbeque and garden furniture to rear.
- First Floor(67+68) - reached by a steep open plan staircase into the master bedroom with double bed and en suite toilet/wash basin. Door opening to rear bedroom with two 3' single beds which can be pushed together to make an extra double.
- Equipment includes ironing board, iron, vacuum and clothes airer. High chair, bed linen (£4 per bed) and cot (£4) available upon request. Please bring your own towels.
- Heating is via oil filled radiators and electricity is supplied via a £1 coin meter.
