The house is a comfortable modern sem-detached bungalow furnished to a high standard. It has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two singles. There is a large lounge/dining room and a well-equipped kitchen. It enjoys an elevated position about one and a half miles from the centre of the City of Inverness commanding panoramic views over the Moray Firth and across to Culloden Moor on the east of the city. On the hill behind are woods and a forest trail. Inverness is a very good centre for visitors, with a wide range of interests to explore either by car or on foot. There are castles, gardens, rivers for fishing and estuaries for bird watching. Dolphins can often be seen in the Moray Firth and the mysteries of Loch Ness are close by. If you play golf there are a number of courses within easy reach, offering a wide range of challenges up to Championship standard. Inverness, being the Capital of the Highlands has a good shopping centre and there are a number of supermarkets in the city, in addition to garden centres, craft outlets and other visitor attractions.
