A true beach house in a peaceful location with uninterrupted views across The Wash. South Beach, Heacham is known for its safe swimming, sailing and paddling, and extensive sand flats at low tide.

Accommodation

The house is roomy and light, with generous living space, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a large deck and sea views. New kitchen fitted in January 2009.
When the weather's good, this is the British coast at its best, and if you need to stay indoors, there is plenty of room for everyone. At the end of the day, enjoy a drink on the deck as the sun sets over the sea.
Accommodation: All on ground level, with wooden walls, seagrass flooring and stripped pine floors. Clean, comfortable and simply furnished. Central heating.
Front entrance lobby/games room with table tennis and table football.
Two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms.
Twin bedded room, with wash basin.
Bunk bedroom (3 ft width beds) with wash basin.
Additional family bathroom and separate shower.
Dining/sitting room with windows on three sides, TV/DVD and stereo. Double doors lead to sun room at front.
Well-equipped kitchen/breakfast room with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave, with doors to:
South-facing deck with table seating 8. West-facing raised deck with views for miles across The Wash (accessed by external stairs).
A large grassy area surrounds the house and leads on to the beach.
There are deck chairs and a barbecue.
Garage with washing machine and hanging airer.
Dogs allowed on request (max 2).

Any catches?
The house dates from the 1920s, and retains some of its original features. It has not been extensively modernized, and so doesn't boast designer bathrooms! Access is by an unmade road which can be bumpy. This is an ideal house if you're wanting to enjoy a relaxing or active holiday right by the sea.
